The Maverick Foundation is proud to annnounce that it presented 22 Good Citizen Awards to well-deserving eighth grade students at their graduation ceremonies who were nominated by their eighth grade teachers for being exemplary role models. The names of the recipients and the schools they attended are available in the Good Citizen Award area of our website. Special recognition was given to Briana Marino of Saint Patrick's School who received the second annual Jack Connolly Leadership Award at our eighth annual Lt. Joe Gullickson Memorial Picnic held at Nansen Park.

The Maverick Foundation's Good Citizen Award Program has issued 118 awards since its inception six years ago.
